I am a former NASA and NOAA scientist with a 25-year career spanning government, academia, and the private sector doing atmospheric and ocean climate research, project and data management, and citizen science. I most enjoy translating science and data into useful information and smart decision making. I see myself as a strategic thinker and thought leader with deep expertise in scientific technology and innovation, environmental policy, and planning. As a leading authority on climate data and adaptation strategies, my research has included how climate affects coral reefs, wine quality, aviation, and renewable energy production.
I have worked with local, statewide, national, and international partners and direct a major regional climate center. My work demonstrates creative thought processes and strong analytical abilities as well as relational communication skills,. One role I particularly enjoy is developing partnerships, leveraging opportunities and networking, and engaging stakeholder relationships. Education
