When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors either fishing, camping, boating. I often find myself fixing things around the house, finding and reselling things on eBay or Craigslist, or engaged in some kind of remodeling project.

As an environmental scientist, I have a diverse background in project management, field sampling methods, data collection, and report preparation. My experience has come from working with private, state, and federal clients throughout the western United States over the last 16 years. I enjoy being outside conducting stormwater system inspections, source control surveys, and water quality monitoring projects. You can also hire me as a HIP certified contractor assisting Lake Whatcom residents with stormwater-friendly landscape design. I also have experience in other field sciences including fish population studies, flow studies, fish passage studies, fish salvage, amphibian studies, stream habitat mapping, stream restoration, topographical survey and raptor monitoring.
