Nathan has a diverse background in field research, GIS, environmental policy, ecological restoration, teaching, and environmental journalism. Nate is our specialist in climate action planning. Recently, he completed drafting the City of Bellingham Climate Action Protection Plan Update which is currently under review by the City Council. As a GIS specialist, he uses spatial analysis and cartography to understand landscapes and depict information in new ways. Nathan's experience includes restoration planning and field work as well as fish and wildlife field research. As a writer, Nathan is working with the Skagit Watershed Council to conduct interviews and write profiles of community leaders in the Skagit watershed.
